neuter, epigynous. Cylex may be either absent or represented by 2 or 3 scales,
superior and called pepaous. Corolla of this plant have 2 , 5 gamopetalous, liguate
superior yellow color. In ray florate androecium is absent. Gynoecium are of two types, bicarpellary
syncarpous, inferior ovary.s ( Epigynous condition), unilocular, single ovule ,
basal placentation, stigma in bifid condition.
Disc floriate flower:
In disc florate the flower is
bracteate, sessile, actinomorphic, hermaphrodite and flower is complete. Calex
and corolla is just like ray florate but petals in corolla form whole. Androecium
in disc florate have 5 stamnos, epipetalous and alternate to the filament free,
anther in stamnos is bicelled, interose and superior. The gynoecium is just like
ray florate. Fruit is just like cypsela.
